Lacrosse Star Commits to her Dream School
A beast on the lacrosse field, Aubrey Fixen plans on playing at the next level at Embry-Riddle.
Over the summer going into her junior year, Fixen worked hard and put herself out to many colleges in hopes of receiving offers.
On September 1st of her junior year, Embry-Riddle reached out to Fixen and she committed to play for them in December.
Fixen has been playing lacrosse for 10 years and grew up watching her older brother play. The sport has made a difference in Fixens life, freshman year she had the opportunity to be the varsity goalie alongside her close friend and teammate Lily Vancans.
Playing club lacrosse helped Fixen grow her ability and love for the game.
“I have been playing for about ten years and I wanted to play at the college level because of the sense of family I get from my team and the love for the game,” Fixen said.
