According to sophomores Morgan Trezek and Ally Markulis, “We will definitely have a strong team this season. With good forwards, strong defense, and solid overall skill, there is no reason why we shouldn’t have a strong team.”
While the girls have faith in their team, they still need to improve in order to become solid CIF contenders. “If we want to go far in CIF, we have to work more as a team and help each other get better each time we step on the field,” said Trezek.
Not only is the team dominated with experience, it also is full of fresh, young talent. “We are really excited for this coming season. Not only do we have good seniors, but our juniors will be key to the team as well. The freshman are really happy they get to play here they have a great coach and they get to play at a school that is quite often referred to as being the jock school. The freshmen really want to do well and they want to win,” replied Markulis.
With good forwards, strong defense, and great skills look for PV to win its third bay league title in three years. The “crown trick” is in sight and these girls have their eyes on the prize. With recent victories, 1-0 over JSerra and 3-0 to Beverly Hills, the girls look ready and are looking forward to a very successful season
