Pixar Exhibition: Flashback to Childhood Movies
If you have watched Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Monster’s Inc., or Wall-E , you will love the new exhibition at the California Science Center in Los Angeles. The new exhibition is called, “The Science Behind Pixar” and is perfect for those who are fans of the animation company. The California Science Center’s website states: “{The} 12,000 sq. ft. interactive exhibition showcases the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts used by the artists and computer scientists who help bring Pixar’s award-winning films to the big screen”. The exhibition guides visitors through all the stages that it takes to produce all of the company’s animated films. This great exhibition is full to discover the art of filmmaking and the creative process it takes to produce this form of art. You will learn how the filmmakers produce sets to the fine details in lighting. If you visit the exhibition you will also get to see your favorite characters come to life. It also features life-sized figures of your favorite characters, so as you walk you can enjoy and lots of photos! Who knows, you might end up wanting to become a Pixar animator, and go on to make more of the beloved films.
